Bldg G

History(1903 - 1993)

The Forge(Blacksmith)Shop was initially equipped with a large number of Sturtevant forges, power forging and steam hammers. The latter was a big drop piston that allowed the forging of large pieces of metal.

Under Westinghouse it was used as a toolroom and light machine shop. It was demolished as part of the site redevelopment.
