Turbines

Overview

With production beginning in 1907, turbines became a reliable source of power for driving fans, blowers, centrifugal pumps, and electric generators. Gear Transmissions were used to match the high speed of a turbine with those devices. Westinghouse closed this product line in the 1940s.
